The Wisconsin men’s basketball team will host Florida State on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the Kohl Center as part of the 2006 ACC-Big Ten Challenge, ESPN announced Tuesday. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.

This will be just the second meeting between the Badgers and FSU. UW won the only previous game between the teams, 64-63, on Dec. 4, 1961 in Madison.

Wisconsin owns a 2-5 all-time record in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. Just two of those games have been at the Kohl Center. The Seminoles will be the fourth different opponent the Badgers have faced in the eight-year history of the event.

The Badgers defeated Maryland at home in 2004 and lost to Wake Forest in Madison in 2002. In 2000, Wisconsin defeated Maryland in overtime at the Bradley Center. In four road games, UW is 0-4, having lost at Wake Forest in 1999 and 2005, at Georgia Tech in 2001 and at Maryland in 2003.

For the second straight season, all 11 Big Ten teams will take part in the Challenge. The event tips off on Monday, Nov. 27 with Michigan traveling to North Carolina State. All 11 games
